Summary :

A studio renovation at Flaine Forum, Betelgeuse building

Flaine ski resort, a brutalist complex and a heritage of the twentieth century, Ministry of Culture and Communication, France.

Marcel Breuer with the Atelier d’Architecture en Montagne.

 

Developments :

All the original elements of 1969 are restored, including the bathroom, the woodwork and the windows.

A new woodenfloor for the living room and kitchen. This new flooring replace a carpet of a previous renovation, the original linoleum has been removed during this first renovation. The wood essence match the color of the interior woodwork.

As a result, a homogeneous effect for this small space in the mountains.
