Château des Brouillards, Paris

Paris, France

2012

A conversion which redefines the château’s internal spaces.

Folie set up on a mill in ruin at the end of the 18th century. Of Castle of “Des Brouillards” to a den of gangsters in the 19th it will be saved and restored in 1924 then increased in 1938.

The new restoration and transformation of 2012 fall under a context of very advanced outdatedness. The stake was to articulate a project of the 21st century in a work of 18th.

The listed patrimonial elements were the stone grounds and the facades, the remainder having been plundered during 19th. The two floors with the grounds to be protected were restored and transformed with a traditional identity, the two other withdrawn of the patrimonial considerations are of modern invoice.
